Our 2025 NAIDOC Family Fun Day was a massive success- a true celebration of culture, community, and connection! With a huge turnout from the Katherine region and surrounding communities, the day was full of smiles, laughter, and shared moments.
The event featured something for everyone like the traditional dancers, friendly sporting competitions, a crowd-favourite blachan cook-off, and refreshing water slides to cool down in the heat. Families enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch at 12pm, tasty ice cream, and explored a wide range of information stalls showcasing local services and supports.
There were happy kids everywhere, and a few lucky winners went home with some fantastic prizes.
